Who think you aren’t making a political move throwing your cigarette in the street in this concrete jungle that flows to the ocean- are out of your mind. I hope you realize in your disagreement with me that this system is unequal, are just discrediting you’re entire argument and your whole political stand point. If your premise is that you understand this world you live in, you are gravely misunderstood. Get a grip, read some Marx, grow some fucking balls and give up your fear of stong feminist women overpowering your hypocrisy thanx fuckyoubye.
I would like to see the sky machine on very corner of the street instead of the coke machine. We need more skies than coke.
Yoko Ono (To the Wesleyan People, 1966)

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking, for a while now, about the existence of god/ ideas about religion. After hearing these various stories of people surviving or dying in accidents, wars, conflicts, or by disease, complications, lack of sufficient resources, etc. Makes me question these notions of religion and the existence of a godly figure who has some divine power over who survives or does not…
Religion itself encompasses a wide range of aspects and sects. Yet all all have some idea of Allah, the all powerful, all knowing figure who defines or controls ones destiny.
So my inquiry is whether these various religions are all a farce, all these secular wars, and deaths of innocents.
Or if god is just some notion to attempt to describe compassion, community, love and beauty…
Or if there really is some reason people survive and others don’t…
and if that has something to do with a higher power.
I suppose it is simply the curse of sentience….
That we must question our notions of existence.
